Wait is finally over, but long wait while it rips the game. I'm finding mine is taking 1-2 hours to rip one game to HDD. From my calc DVD 1x speed for 4.5G is 60mins (when burning anyway), so rip speed is slower than 1x.

    Urban, what's your experience?

There are a few different methods of ripping, some longer / slower than others.
I think the way you are ripping is raw mode, Try using some of the others.
(Sorry about not being specific, can't think off the top of my head, and not near a WODE unit at the moment).

Ripping to a Fat32 drive did the trick, about 5 times quicker than ripping to a NTFS drive. 4gig games too 20mins. Ripping to .wbfs and .iso appears to rip at the same speed, however ripping to .wbfs in Game Only mode, will rip the actual game data only and therefore be quicker and take up less space on HDD. If Game Only to .iso - still found it created the full 4.5G disc image, only handy for those wishing to burn directly to a DVD disc later. Had to download a little app to format HDD's over 32G in Win 7.

Anyone had issues ripping from DVD-R Wii backups? Can't get any of mine to rip, but .iso's used to burn the discs are playable from HDD. Orignal Wii games rip fine, and DVD-R backups play fine in Flat mode. Any idea's anyone?
