    Default Sanity finally prevails

Yes Sanity has finally prevailed and I have decided to turn over my AV protection to Kaspersky, running trial ver atm. What I am wanting to know is where is the best place to purchase licence. See many on Ebay but don't know if suppliers are reliable. Would appreciate any advice.

I normally buy them on the cheap at ebay.com when needed. Just pay via Paypal , any issue do a charge back. You dont have much to lose.

They seem to work fine unless you try to install a single licence on multiple machines. I would recommend just a one year single computer licence , not much to lose at worse case scenario.

    G'Day Cobber,
I'm running my 3Yr 2PC with no problems for over 6 months now and am very happy with it.
    It reports 908 Days remaining.
I don't think there have been any complaints about any of the sellers.
In fact you seem to get more than advertised, such as single PC/Yrs extended. Reports from many in this regard.
    They're so cheap, why quibble?
Kindest Regards, " The Druid ".

I originally had a 144Yr one, but after about 4Yrs, it fell over.

Where exactly do these keys and licence codes that people sell on Ebay come from?

It just seems kinda dodgy to be selling them cheap on there when the manufacturer is selling them for so much more.

Are people just running keygens and selling the results?

No, I dont think so, I have never come accross a Kaspersky Keygen of any kind. Pirated keys on crack sites are usually dead within a day.

At a guess, keys are coming from Asian countries where they are sold much cheaper. Example, a licence maybe $100 here but if you charged $100AUD for a licence in some poorer countries they would never sell them. So if we buy a key from an Asian country at their rates, it works out very cheap. But I am not 100% sure if this is the case.

I have noticed though that there are no where near the amount of sellers on ebay anymore and those that are still there have increased their prices significantly.

I have to renew in 6 months but in all honestly I am happy to pay the full amount for this product if necessary. I think its the best security suite out there.....it does exactly what you expect of it, using low resources and being non intrusive.

I just cracked it and got a 3 pc /2 year deal boxed for $70 on ebay, you cant go wrong with Kaspersky protection.

Not a big fan of keys being sent, i just thought the Aussie retail boxed deal is a little less to worry about in the long run, cannot be stuffed with keys being shot down.

To be honest, I'm absolutely flabbergasted!
    That's out of this world.
Forgive me for saying it, but you must have more money than sense.
Can't remember the absolute details, but my deal is 2/3 for $7
I'm sure that others will wonder if you have lost your marbles.
Sorry Godz, just had to say it.

Others who wonder why i spent a tax deductible $70 to protect my banking details on 3 Pc's over 2 years can keep scratching their heads, it works out to $13 a pc per year and i dont need to worry about the key being blacklisted/shot down.

When running a Ebay business and family banking from PC's, you dont take risks running what could be generated keys to save a few $, it does not make economic sense.

If i was using my Pc's for fun and games, then thats another matter.

How is buying something in a retail box that is sold at thousands of places and at every major department store "out of this world " ?

Not everyone wants to take the risk of buying keys of dubious origin, some do want the legit item with receipt.

You come in with some serious misgivings at times b4l....

From another that used to buy Kaspersky keys on fleabay that got blacklisted - the hassles getting your money back are not worth it. Like Gz I again have (second time around) 3 user 2 year deal at $78 tax deductible. Not one issue re updating ever.

If you are that tight, go use AVG (crap) lol

Wow, after taking hours to uninstall Nod 32 and Malwarebytes ive got the system running on Kasparsky.

First scan revealed 6 trojans that the others missed with every scan.

    Im impressed.
