Default Garmin G2 Vision Maps lower Australia

    Hi Guys,

after a few pm's about this I have posted to megaupload.

9 parts 100 MB per part
    1. Download all 9 parts to one folder and extract 1st one with winrar.
    2. Copy to SD card and place in GPS
    3. get GPS ID, Run jetmouse keygen with map ID 493 pid 1
    4. Place SD card in GPS and it should work

will not work in mapsource on PC
(no vision2 cards do, you need to download homeport to use on PC, runs like a dog on win 7 fine on xp)

    Bluechart 2010

Last bluechart before G2 Vision Charts (same maps but works in mapsource)

    1. Extract to folder
    2. Run BC_PAC_ENU (not setup.exe)
    3. Copy mapsource.exe from downloaded file to C:\Garmin overwriting exsiting file
    4. Run mapsource (map will be locked)
    5. With mapsource open go to Utilities and manage map products
    6. Select unlock regions tab
    7. Open JM keygen and put you unit ID and Map ID 357 under custom mapset
    8. Enter unlock code in the region tab of mapsource

Maps should now be unlocked, Don't update Mapsource

Yes, all you have to do is install Garmin XT onto them

Should work on both those units
and then just add the Bluechart maps

works a treat on my HTC phone running XT.

And when I go on the next cruise to Vanuatu I'll take you up on the fishing, has to be better than where I am now

Thanks, been working on the xt from that thread.

Can't get the Tevion to run Garmin at all, from either the residentflash or the SD card.

Modifying the GPSrunfile to "windows\windows.exe" starts explorer for 2 seconds then defaults back to the Tevion mainscreen.

I can get tom tom working on it from the resident flash but nothing I do makes it rsepond to the SD card - this folder appears as "MMSD" rather than "vdisk" on my unit.
    Tried different Sd cards too.

Now I'm going to retrace my steps using the Mio.

With the Tevion you may need to run the program called PNADesktop.exe
install that to the resident flash and have it run in stead of the GPS

I tried everything on my Binatone clone and nothing would work until I tried PNADesktop
that did the trick and I can not access the explorer to get into the SD card and run other software

    Hi all,

    My virginal post...

I just want to resurrect an older thread because its a beauty, but I am having problems with Mapsource. I downloaded the maps for the last of the pre-G2 maps for my 178C. Thanks very much to the thread starter for posting all this up.

I used to run Mapsource on my laptop, but it crashed and I had to do a recovery and lost it. I recently downloaded training centre and installed that and then mapsource. Mapsource refused to open giving me the option of sending an email to Garmin with the machines operating system details...I declined. I uninstalled both using the control panel, and re-installed just the Training Centre. Unfortunately same message when I tried to open it...would anyone be kind enough to help me with this problem?

    Cheers and thanks
