    Default Remove failed XP installation

    Hi Guys,
Whilst trying to refresh my pc, I decided to do an upgrade of operating system and used the currently installed xp sp2.

Problem now is i couldn't find a few files and I'm stuck with an incomplete install which it tries to boot to all the time, I have to sit and wait to directed it to the installed o/s.

Any ideas how I can remove this failed upgrade/re install???

    Cheers
    Mick

Right click on my computer and go to properties, Advanced, Startup & Recovery Settings and choose the correct OS boot line. This will make it boot directly to the good install.

What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

    Champion, thanks dude!

should it be now safe to delete:
    C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT
    C:\$WIN_NT$.~LS

These are what the installer left behind
    now???

Should be, they look like typical temp files created by the installer.
