    Thanks. The one I posted earlier was actually v6026. The site I got it from had it incorrectly listed as newer version. Need to double check Version before posting. Sorry For that.

    Cheers,
    Just disconnect device in TTH & run it again it should then update the safety cam info.

    Cheers

    It turned out to be an old .tlv file located in \POI

    I deleted it (kept a backup) and installed 6489, and restarted the GPS. Now it shows I have the latest cam update without the huge discrepancy it gave me before

    Cheers for your help anyway,

    clarification pls....

    You download file... you extract to Safety Cam AU 6489 and have the folder in my australia map folder... OR... do I just put the Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom.ov2 Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom.ov2.dct Safety_Cam_AU_TomTomOv2.ver files directly into the australia map folder? And how do I know if it works... without going for a drive....? I checked the sfate warnings stuff... but there was nothing bout cameras.... I just moved the three files inthe australian map folder directly... but still can't see anything in the warnings etc to tell me it is working.... How is it I know?

    An optimist will tell you the glass is half-full; the pessimist, half-empty; and the engineer will tell you the glass is twice the size it needs to be!!

    Correct. Then make sure to run a keygen if you have not already done so to register the maps to your tomtom. Also make sure cameras are enabled.

    Usually under main menu. Live Services -> safety alerts. (app v8.562).

    Plan a route that passes on roads that use a speed camera. Then do a route demo. It will show the speed cameras if they are correctly installed and enabled as your route demo passes them.

    Ty for the quick reply Greg.
    Usually under main menu. Live Services -> traffic alerts. (app v8.562).
    I think that is where my problem is....
    I am using...
    DeviceName=TomTom ONE
    DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v3)
    RamDiskVersion=20081205
    BootLoaderVersion=55001
    When I connect to tt home, it says "TomTom One New Edition down the bottom.... but when I enter the first two digits of the model number or whatever it is on tomtom site itself, it tells me its a eclipse? So im confused, how bout you LOL

    I think my version is too early to have the speed cameras as such? In the menu, I have TomTom Traffic. I click it, and gotta create a wireless connection through my phone net provider... does that sound right?
