Australian maps for Mio 220 device

Hi

I have just moved back to Australia from Scandinavia and brought with me my cheapie Mio 220 ... I happen to like the interface and my wife is already used to operating it ...

The device uses MioMap v3.3 and this software is (as far as I know) only on the SD card. I understood that the device has no internal memory.

when I do a reset on the device I see the following:

1) black screen with R05.04.0168.xx
2) MioMap v3 screen

I am then placed in the menu for Mio Map v3.3

The device says on the back that its Win CE 5.0

I'm downloading the NewA2.rar which I found on a thread here:



but I do not have that application mentioned in there.

Is this available? Where from? how much??

I would like to first get going with local maps, so are there any maps which can be used directly by the navigator?

I would also like to consider getting some off road application maps for it too, and one kind user here has put me onto oziexplorer ... but I don't seem to be able fiind out if that will work on the Mio

if your Mio 220 is unlucked then you can install IGO8 on the sdcard and use the 2010 R17 map.. you can follow the thread the ultimate and new igo for installation

you need to unlocked also your device before you can install oziexplorer and use off roadmap

if your device is not unlucked and decided to unlocked it you can go
