I use GetDataBack in my data recovery business. It is effective 99% of the time, and what it can't retrieve is usually beyond a software recovery anyway.

Another good program for flash type media is "Sandisk Recovery Pro".

    tell me about it
i fix em not recover em
anyway, i get this lappy nother day with 120g sata drive.
its got ctrl alt del to reboot xp prob. no prob hook it to the desktop.
cant access drive. umm, boot to xp cd, no r for recovery only clean install, oh its got 4 gig of pommy mans pix on it.
boot to barts cd, half it dont work, other half takes forever to load.
even tried all above recovery while hooked to mine, no go
moral is, backup your stuff to seperate partition at least to avoid this crap.
then you only need reinstall on c if the drive is worthy.
