Default Austar KU Dish, Dreambox500s No lock/Sync on C1 please help

The more I read, the more unclear it becomes.
I have a standard austar dish pointed at I presume Optus C1. (am still recieving Austar from it)
I have installed a dreambox 500s and managed to ftp the Optus C1 xml file.
Followed the instructions on several sites, but I do not get sync or lock, hence when I do a manual scan can not find any services.
    Can anyone please help
    Thanks

Have you configured your LNB settings to match the LNB on your dish ?

    10700,11300

Dreambox tuners are more temperamental and the dish has to be more fine tuned then other receivers so that could be your problem, you might have to fine tune your dish

    Single frequency LNB usually.

    Either 10700 or 11300.
Try both of them. Easy if you look on the LNB of your dish, it will have the L.O.Freq written.

Have you tried scanning 12407V 30000 2/3 to see if you can scan the tuning pattern for Optus C1?

If you have a Universal LNB, try:

    LOF/L: 9750
    LOF/H: 10600

This should work with your LNB

    LOF/L: 10700
    LOF/H: 10700
    Threshold: 11700
