LOL, i love it when the cops "really" turn up due to some moron in the control room not putting the account on test :P
Anyone else had this?
lol
A man awoke one evening to discover burglers in his storage shed. He immediately called the police and notified them of a possible burglary.
The operator asked "Are they in your house?"
He said no... only in the shed in the yard.
Operator said there were no cars available at the time.... He thanked the operator and hung up.
He counted to 60 seconds or so and called them again.
"I just called about a break in at my storage shed ...well, you don't have to worry - I just shot them and they're all down !" - and hung up.
Within minutes there were 3 police cars and an ambulance as well as a fire engine in his driveway.
After capturing the burglers red handed, the policeman questioned the home owner - "I thought you said you shot them all !"
The man answered, "I thought you said there were no cars available!"

IPAlarms is this a true story or just urban legend stuff
What a good idea to get the cops movin'
But I am sure there would have been ramification's for
stating a false report
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
Ive had this happen on a few occasions. I just say to the bewildered customer, "At least you know the system works!"
This is how I find out who is monitoring the alarm when the client doesn't know. Its amazing how many people cant tell you the name or No of their monitoring centre.
