    Unhappy Linksys pap2-ne with asus wl-am604g Problems

    hi guys,

    I need some help Im playing with a linksys pap2-ne adaptor and cant for the life of me figure out why it wont connect through the asus wl-am604g router to use viop with TPG,

    I have entered all the info into the pap2 did port fowarding hopefully correct and moved and changed stuff around.

    All I seem to get is offline or cannot connect to login server????

    Im better than average with computers but networking has me stuffed.

    Please Help!!!!!!!!

    There should be something wrong in the LAN configuration page of your ATA.
    Make sure you specified your router local IP address as DNS address in your PAP2 (that's if you use static addressing).

    hiya,
    just googled my setup and found your post, I have the same set up as you, WL-AM604g, but my phone adapter is a PAP2-NA and I have a similar problem. I'm with internode and I get a dial tone, and I can ring my mobile phone, which rings. I don't however get a ringtone through the handset connected to my adapter and on answering my mobile I don't get any sound.
    I'm not getting any love from internode tech support either (although they do try to help) but they have no idea because my setup is "unsupported".
    anyone got any ideas?
