    Default Sony X series lcd

Just hooked up one of these and was wondering if it is normal to be slow in changing channels, like about 2 seconds? Also wondering if there is an easier way to switch between foxy and fta( like a back button) without going thru the external input menu.
    Thanks

Yes it's normal. The Sony W, X and XBR Australian HD tuner is really slow, I've read that it can take 3 seconds to change channel and you can't delete duplicate channels. Best to get an external tuner if you watch a lot of FTA.

How many screens/button presses do you have to go through to switch inputs? I'm thinking of buying one of these (mostly because of the PS3 deal they have right now).

Two ways, first requires six presses of the remote. The other way( via external imput menu) can be 3 presses because you can go up or down, also depends what input you are using. Bit of a letdown but otherwise impressive.
