1. You could try a new battery.
2. check the current drain to see whats draining the current when stationary .
3. have you checked the fluid level and PH.
4. check the charge rate of the alternator.

what i need to install for my old car to save my battery if i leave it 3 days no driving battery going flat.
Hellllllppppppp.....

solar battery charger on Ebay
Dash.
it called a battery isolation switch.
some fit directly to battery
some can be mounted inside the car
dont look at the prices there, try locally, much cheaper.
your best bet is to use a solar panel to trickle charge or even a battery charge running on low trickle charge.
id be asking myself whats draining the battery? alarm?
Check that any lamps in the boot or glove box are turning off when there closed.
If you have a multimeter put it on the battery and measure the battery voltage with the car not running it should read about 12 volts then start the motor the voltage should read about 13 volts or more which will increase if you rev the car a little.
If the voltage stays at 12 volts while the car is running then it suggests the alternator is not working.
In some older cars the alternator warning lamp forms part of the circuit needed for the alternator to work. When you start the car the lamp should light then go out if it does not check the bulb as if its blown the alternator might not work.
That's only valid for old cars and I can't remember if it was a Bosch or Lucus alternator but its a real gotch.
If you can get hold of a multimeter that measures amps 1 amp or higher would be good take a lead off one end to the terminal other to lead if you get a reading around 100 ma that is fine if you get around 1 amp it is prob a globe
As car batteries are around 40 to 45 amphours so a globe using 1 amp plus standby say 100 ma = your 36 hrs
we tested with multimeter problem is in the fuse box when i take out 40 amp fuse coming to 0. so that 40 amp discharge my lovely battery bosh 0.10 all the time, that is my short lights, what will try to do install switch when i need to drive it at night i need to turn it on. is any other solution.??
Thx all...
When did this problem start happening ?
Prior to it starting was anything done to the car say a radio, gps etc added or some other work ?
Have you checked that there are no lamps running as in boot, rear hatch, glove box, door lights etc.
You suggest there is a drain of 100 mA. Part of that could be the likes of a clock and standby current for a radio perhaps. You could isolate that by pulling the fuse for these devices and seeing if the current flow stops.
I would still like to know the result of mesuring the battery volt with and without the engine running.
So that suggests the battery is not charging.
I would still like to know the result of mesuring the battery voltage with and without the engine running. Not running it should be about 12 volts. Running upwards of 13 volts. This will give some indication as to if there is charge being sent to the battery. If with the motor running you get 13 or better volts try turning on the head lights and let me know what effect that has on the voltage reading. If it drops to 12 volts or less try reving the engine a little and see what the voltage does.
This assumes your battery is ok
Not running about 12 volts. Running 13 volts.
battery charging but if i leave it 3 days no driving battery is dead, need to push it to start it .im sick calling NRMA to start my car.
40amp is problem short lights i think, multimeter showing like that 0.10.
Did you do the amp test?
sometimes the stop light switch develop leakage which drains the battery but dosn't light the stop lights, try disconnecting that by taking one wire off the stop switch and then check the battery drain.
I had a similar problem years ago, which in my case turn out to be the glovebox light not turning off. I tested everything as per everybodies suggestions,l tested all switchs which operated correctly , but when glovebox was closed the switch did not make properly which left the light on.
The way l found it was by current meter in series with battery and pulled each fuse in turn.Time consumming but it showed me the problem.
found my problem is my doors lights taking 0.10 of my power, disconnected all ok now.
thx for your help.
