    Default TwinhanSat card and VAST

    Hi,

    I am running DVBDream v1.3c.

I have attempted to scan Vast on...
    12567 v 3/5 30000 8PSK and
    12447 v 3/5 30000 8PSK

I cannot get a lock or scan to occur.I have also tried the auto modulation settings.

Are other Twinhan or satcard users able to scan these in and display the picture? I cannot understand why the card does not "see" the transponder, but works flawlessly on the other transponders?

    Thanks

VAST is encrypted... no pics without the appropriate smartcard and it's 'married' UEC decoder at this time...also I don't think the stream is running yet anyway.

Thanks...I realise it would be encrypted, but was just trying to load it up but getting nothing... if there is no stream, then that is the answer. I was merely seeing the posts re the transponders and assuming something was there.

    Thanks for that...

in theory, you should be able to lock and tune the channels, just not decrypt.

Thanks...It refuses to see it at all. also, the Twinhan locks and loads the 3d test, but won't display as it ays there is not h.264 codec.

Would be interested to see what is happening with other cards on these services, and what program works..ie dvbdream, prog, etc

Hmm..this must be me adding to my own confusion then, as I can play all the HD feeds on the card off of D1, as well as those that used to carry the HD feeds on PAS2, and thus thought I'd get the one's via VAST.

Think I'd better start understanding terms properly, otherwise I'll drive everyone bananas....

    Thanks for that..

Checking new card prices, it may be best I consider one of Leroy's deals on his HD receivers...I'll wait n see whether VAST is firmly married up or not first though.

Sorry for asking the dumb questions about it...I'll go back into the corner with my dunce hat on.
