Has anyone noticed how much slower Primo is to recalc than say iGo? Especially if you are going through the city and there are lots of streets, its takes 30-40 seconds to get a new route going, not quite as long if you are on the highway. And it's not like my device is slow, its Win CE6 with 256Mb RAm and 533MHz processor.
Any hints or tips to quicken things up. I don't use TTS either. I noticed in the iGo skin the Gujon does, there's a option for fast recalc or accuracy, anyone seen this for Primo?
Also it there a way to get the bluetooth going in this so that you can call the POI's from the nav program?
What is the latest updates etc for primo incl.Australia updates???
are there any updated links to get the latest primo and australian maps?
Hi,
I now have Primo up and running thanks to this site- but does anyoe have a link to a user manual?
(I've searched all around with no luck so far!)
Hi all, anyone has the latest Primo and Oz Navteq map? All links are dead. Thanks.
Hi I tried turning on my MIO C520 the other day and it ran really slow, sometimes it doesn't load at all. I have been running mio pocket with igo primo.
Any ideas on what the problem might be would be appreciated.I have tried everything I can think of apart from reinstalling windows ce, which I have no idea where to get.
Thanks

has anybody got an original backup of registry files for Mio C520
@agil91,
The registry on the MioC520 is not persistent (a huge advantage with these devices) so the registry will always be reloaded from ROM every time the device is hard reset. So an original backup is not necessary.

any ideas on why it would be running so slow then. i got task manager working and it says 100% cpu usage
in processes it says
ITASKMGR.EXE
minbar.exe
mioautorun
mortscript
miobtm.exe
mainshell.exe
launcher
services.exe
explorer.exe
gwes.exe
device.exe
filesys.exe
Nk.exe
should i format the drive?
thanks

Hello,
I have read, and read, and read. And just to make sure..., I have read again.
Everytime I see a link for any IGO Primo files (IGO Primo, data.zip, skins, etc) they are all dead links. I have been reading for a week now. Please, please help a soul in need
Can someone please post or PM the working links (or files) I will need to install IGO Primo into my 6 inch All-in-One (800x480 touch screen)
See specs below:
System: Windows CE 6.0
Processor: STM8AF51AAT
Screen: 6 inch touch screen
Resolution: 800x480
Port: COM1
Baud Rate: 9600
I am in the US and looking for the English versions, and US maps/poi/TTS/skins.., etc. Can someone please help me with this (or point me in the right direction).
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM if you like that better.
Thanks,
gg
How and where can you do that?
When you click on the tts file you want it goes to the zip program.
I tried to do it there, but somehow can't do it while there?
Please tell me how?
Hello,
I received a link from someone on the forum with a working Primo install (800x480).
It is working fine on my 2din Chinese in-dash navi. But the person set it up to have a different start-up screen (a personalized Audi logo). I have tried removing this screen in order to get the default Primo screen to start-up instead. I found the .bmp file on the root folder that has the Audi logo and removed it from the sd card. But it still shows up.
How do I get the default screen to start-up (or change it to something else - like a Nissan logo).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

mate, open data.zip file in win.rar and look for ui_iogo9/800x400. Then look for "Loading.bmp" click on that and see if it is the Audi logo - if it is you can delete it and replace it with the Igo Logo. The person who changed the logo may have saved the default on by renaming it such as "Loading_1.bmp" if so rename it back to "loading.bmp".
If it is not in the data.zip look in Branding.zip and see if it is there. You can change your "Loading.bmp" to what ever picture you would like just make sure that the picture you want as your loading bmp is 800x400 resolution. You can change resolution with photo programs such us Paint.net and photoshop.
I hope this will help you mate.
Hi,
It looks like i'm a bit late as all links for download are down. Could anyone re-up iGO primo 480x272. Thanks.

Bazzle,
Thanks for the head-up, mate. It worked, and I was able to use my own start-up logo. The paint.net app was also a good tip.
Another quick question:
From the primo set-up screen, I have it set so that it displays the speed I am traveling. But this only works on the "no destination" map screen. Meaning the map screen where no route distination has been entered - where it just follows where you go. But how do you get this to also show on the "route map" screen - the map screen that actually directs you to your destination?
Thanks,
gg
