Default Halo 2 - vista only

    Hi all,

Just after some clarification, I see the game Halo 2 Vista only so why can't it be played on a PC running XP?

    TIA

I don't think there is any ways around it, you can install it on XP but it will come up with a error when you try to run it. I think it was too encourage more people to purchase vista at the time. It works on Win7, I know since I have it. :P Just skip vista straight to Win7. ;D

EDIT: A little more research and I found that there is supposedly is a patch that can get it running, as well as guides on youtube were people show you their methods to get it working on XP.

Thanks Legrity, good post. I knew there had to be a work around somewhere.

As for W7 not a fan smells too much like vista.

    Cheers

The story in this way sounds a lot more interesting than it actually plays out. Shifting the focus away from Master Chief makes it hard to get into the conflict and empathize with humanity, to feel like you’re getting involved in some grand space-opera crusade, as in the first game.
