Ok ive been looking at putting up a 3kw solar panel on the roof i have been looking through the different methods of payments ..ect getting more confused by the day i see some company's let you pay them off of over time anyone able to put input into this as i am compering company's what is best for me like a deposit them pay off over two years and how much the they give you for what you put back in against what you pay etc Ive only started looking at it i am finding it to be a mine field and then there is the quality of the panels like cheep ones ...etc any feedback on what the energy company's offer and experiences (good & bad )would help surly i am not the only one looking through this

only a bit confusing.............
if you have a look at my thread here in this section you will see my quest and i eventually went with eco-kinetics.
not to say they are better or worse than others, just worked for me.
it all depends on what your are trying to achieve as the systems are expensive. and the returns need to work for you.
its surprising what extras can be negotiated as i managed to get a extra $1450 off my 2.1kw system.
i used solarchoice only as a starting point for pricing and seeing what system components were being used for comparing setups.
use some of the links i put up, plug in your own figures and see what your returns will be.
btw where are you located as if in outer SE melb suburbs you are welcome to come over and have a look at my setup.
i chose eco-kinetics because the gave me a quick install time of 10 days from order and the good price on the 2.1kw system.
(a couple of others wanted to charge me $1500 extra, that was on top of the $8000 rebate and Rec's and for only a 1.5kw system.)
