ClarkConnect uShare installation help

hey guys, im slowly learning linux. i have clarkconnect currently installed on my computer and i want to set up a media server on it. i have found great tutorials on it but using ubuntu server. when i use that tutorial its says 'Please use yum' any help or has anyone successfully installed ushare on a clarkconnect system.

Well, I've never used Clarkconnect but...I notice that Clarkeconnect is mentioned in the context of a Firewall/Router distro, so it may be missing heaps of packages required to run other stuff..
Yum is just the installer/package manager under Red Hat / Fedora etc, so will likely work.
I think it will accept plain old RPMs as well, so you could download the RPM for ushare and try installing it manually.

I am not too sure about using this distro as a general purpose box...
