    Question Strong SRT4658X power supply

I have stuffed the power supply in my unit and am now after a new 1 or maybe some ideas as to how to fix this 1.
If anyone knows where I can get 1 from please post here.
    Or
If anyone know the values of the components of the power supply please post here also.

It shouldn`t be a major problem as I only hooked up a wire to ground and 1 to 22volts then the hole thing just stopped.

    Any ideas welcome and appreciated.

    Cheers
    Min.

I would expect a 'fuse resistor' to be open circuit, something easily found with a multimeter. First check if there is any activity at all in the supply by looking (metering) for any voltages on the board. Then look for a low-value resistor open-circuit.

Give the board to someone with experience if you have no clue - and be aware that voltages exist on the supply primary side which can and will kill you.

You could try the electronics forum. But as stated above if your not sure of what you are doing get someone else to look at it. Power supplies CAN KILL.

    Hi,
How did you connect to the 22 volts? Maybe you made a solder bridge.

No, no solder bridge. Thats 1 thing I always make sure of.
I know power supplies can kill. Hopefully sometime this weekend I`ll get a chance to do some back tracking and see what could of went bad.
