Default COA key different then the installed key?

Hey guys just a quick question, it's something that I haven't tried before, you know when you get a laptop like toshiba and it has a windows key sticker at the bottom, but the key is different to the key installed as they use OEM key, if I use the key that's on the sticker would I be able to activate windows on another toshiba without any problems to the existing installed key.

    Thanks cheers.

usually if I don't have a recovery cd I just install from a windows cd and use the key from the bottom and never had any problems.
The reason I am asking because my Windows 7 Ultimate key that I got from Sanity was blocked today, and I thought if I could use my sister's Key as she just bought a new toshiba with windows 7 installed, I checked the key installed and it's completely different then the sticker, and now I am thinking of stealing hers, lol

not realy, your sister has maybe home and you have Windows 7 Ultimate .
you could maybe do a restore and stop updates. look into win loaders.
not that i know anything about them.there is a thread here on them.
    linux is free.

well I did a fresh install and used my sister's key, but it didn't activate over the internet, so I activated it over the phone and everything seems to be fine.
