Does anyone know if it is possible to track down who a domain is registered with by there domain name?

I need to track down who is hosting the site or who the domain is registered through.

does anyone know?

The web site that is listed is running a scam and is loaded with Viruses.

Is there some sort of Internet Authority in Australia that will Deal with them?

You should contact the web host. That info should show up on the link I posted.

If you cant find it, post the site ( dont put www in front of it though please so it wont hyperlink ) and we will see what we can find out. I am sure the host wouldnt be happy.

Whois will show the expiration date if the domain name has lapsed (expired) as in the example below.

Last Updated On:10-Sep-2009 0435 UTC
Expiration Date:10-Sep-2010 05:54:04 UTC
