Default Help a poor kiwi out.

    Hi there,

I've been struggling with this all day. I've succesfully installed Igo onto one of those chinese gps units. Now i cant seem to get the nz or austrailian maps working on it. I think i've got everything sitting in the correct folders but it wont show up in the list of maps.
    What am i doing wrong???

    The software version is 8.3.4.102680

    Thanks

    Chris

yes there is a basemap installed. No i dont get any list to choose from, i just went through the settings menu until i get to about then click that then click maps - and have a list of maps there. All the american maps are loaded on it and when i first turned it on after installing saw some of one of those now i just have nothing. (as in a map with roads on the screen - everything else appears fine)

So you have put Aus/NZ maps in the same place as where the US maps are ?

    On my chinese unit :

/residentflash/GPS/igo8/content/map......I have both Australia and Basemap in there.

I wouldnt think so....where did you get the software from ? You can find verified working versions in this section with a bit of a search.

At worst just delete it and install a version from here. I have also recently posted up a link to the latest Australia R17 map and some other goodies.

Here is a link to my thread for the latest map

You should find a download link for a working version of iGo in this thread.

You should not have any problems if you what I have posted as they are confirmed working.
