Thumbs up DrEditHD Version 1.01-fdu file editor

Found this program, its english.....which works great on my UltraPlus 980HD to edit the fdu file. It is for the Octagon SF1018 HD. Only thing you got to do if you change the Channel Name make sure you untick Name Protected box, if you do not the name will default back to the original name when you save the file back to STB

Default Open and Save as- the fdu File

Access /var/etc/ on your Ultraplus 980 using the proggie to open and Save. Do not have to do the USB data transfer thing.

Yep once I transferred the file over using fxp, then set it to open with dr Edit, all was sweet.

    Default Motor settings gone!

Problem....when I loaded the channels back to the box you lose motor settings on ku band. Go into positioner settings and the positioner box says none! On c-band the same thing but the v-box remembers the positions and they all come back okay.
