Now also have it working over the internet ... very nice
Now for the fine tuning and adding the channels I wish to watch whenever I want and from anywhere ....
Cool ... I love my iPhone
Thanks I actually ended up using bouquet editor suite it does it all for you, INI file and channels.
What Images are people using because i was using PLI and it worked fine on port 31344
but as soon as i put gemini on I cant get it working is it on a diff port? and how do i find out what port to use any help her would be muchly appreciated

pli has zapstream which works on port 31344 - other images use thestandard enigma streamer which aint as goodand works on different port with different url
use pli - its the pants down winner for streaming
Dm500, DM5620, DM600 x2, DM7000 x1, DM7020, DM7025, DM800, VU+DUO and a partridge in a pear tree

Cheers for that nfnovice, any idea on how to find the port for Gemini though or how to change it?
on e2 boxes and e1 boxes without zapstream each channel has its own url not a set port like zapstream - if you change channels the stream disappears. At least with zapstream if you change chanels the stream continues on the new channel
my recommendation stick with pli

Thumbnails just edit mp4 file name to match the channel.ini entry. I haven't tried all of them but the ones I have worked.
My iPhone often "buffers" - on home 802.11g network. Quite annoying. Anyone else copping this?
This works great.. even over the net.
Now just need to spend some time creating the channels.ini file.
Here are some screens for users without a iphone
toor how did you manage to get the correct picons for the thumbnails
This post
Then just drop them in /AirVideoServer/LiveTV/Foxtel

You don't need to use every thumbnail and they don't need to be in the same folder, infact you can sort them into different folders with names that mirror the bouquets on the dreambox as long as the thumbnail .mp4 file name is identical to the name in the channel.ini file. I've only built a channel.ini file for the channels I watch so if any of the thumbnails I made don't work let me know..
What is the difference between the free and purchased client?
Also I am finding audio delayed ... ?

Ok I have got the png images from lyngsat and i think they need to convert them to short mpg files to use as thumbnails? and then rename them to suit the ini file?
I cant seem to get it to work. When i click on Play with Live Conversion it says preparing video then proceeds to play but nothing comes up and it goes back to the menu with the options to play or play with live conversion etc.
Below is a sample of my channel.ini file:
035-E!.mp4
052-GO.mp4
I have tried with pids and without still the same result.
When i paste the first http line in my browser it changes my box to the correct channel so i know the first line is correct.
Anyone got any ideas?
Your second line is must be just like this.
Shutdown PC air Video server and re start it from ----> C:/ProgFiles/AirVideoServer
If it is working ,do not touch it
What image and box are you using? I found that gemini on my 7020 needs the pids and will only stream on port 31339 where my dm500 running Pli is happy without the pids streaming on port 31344 but will also work on port 31339 as long as the pids are entered. I have ios4 and it works fine.
