OK further to my problem.

Done some more investigating. VLC doesn't seem to open the stream fast enough. If I disable the zap, then start the stream manually, waiting long enough for it to start in VLC, then start Air Video. Works fine. Any ideas how to add a delay or something in there to make Air video wait a little while until it asks for the stream, or get Air video to zap, wait 5 seconds, then request the stream?

I sort of gave up for now SatGuru, too hit and miss for me.

Yeah I was using Dreambox live at home, but just doesn't cut it if you want internet streaming. Plus with Air Video, I can stream my movies at the same time.

dreambox live is much easier to use and of course does not require a pc to run it, but in saying that many thanks to the developer of Air Video.

Air video no longer works with the latest update unless some one has the new modpack update
