Irdeto 2 on Silver

Hi,
I heard from someone at one point they had Irdeto2 on Silvercard...does anyone know the history of this or if it is still possible? I know that the silvercard has enough memory for Ird2.

No. I wouldn't beleive a silver having ird2 on, but maybe it is possible, and maybe it's a cr@shrun.

I think it was in Europe they got it on there....but not anymore..and i don't think for a while considering the gammas are now around.

How did it emulate IR2? I know they went for quite a while back in the Ir1 days.

I know that the silvercard has enough memory for Ird2.

I don't think the Gamma team used Gammas so they could charge more for cards
since they pretty much get to determine the selling price anyway.
The silvers are fairly secure where it comes to code protection.
Noone ever claimed to retrieve details from the pic on an Ausgold card,
and any data on the EEPROM could still be encrypted.

Easy , Just log them

nearly a waste of time as they change so quick, you would enter a working one for a provider, and then it would change, it would be a never ending cycle... Maybe a proggie could be written for the Dreambox, to Cache all available Plainkeys and pass them on, But then we are getting back to card sharing etc, not really wafer material. There are silvers files floating around (they are european) for Irdeto2 4.1 but no good here I dont think..

There are whispers of these going around, but knowing what code is on the cards just by guessing is a waste of time. I have seen silver fun cards silver emeralds etc, so going on the colour, you cant really assume thats what it actually is... Remember gold cards used to be white...

a silver cannot contain an os of such to emulate 4.1 irdeto 2 ... plain and simple... .. we can only paint a picture lol.. and that being the supposed european.. wana be irdeto 2 hoax.. mainly edited atr's .. the only cards that can emulate true irdeto2..if u wanna spend the money are 6464c and 7272c based . correct me if im wrong.. just my bit..
