OK... hope this is in the right section.

I have a client that has some old slab heating, its been disconnected and they are using panel heaters... which they don't turn on, because the heat isn't fast enough.

I am considering reconnecting the floor heating and just leaving it on full time.

But i am also wondering if i connect some kind of Home Automation unit, the client could control their slab heating from their main home in Melbourne (or anywhere).
Perhaps allowing them to turn it on or up a couple of days before they arrive??

Does anyone have any suggestions on what equipment might be worth installing to control this.

Contactors are already at the switchboard to control heating, so it would just need to be a trigger to operate them.
ADSL Internet is also at the switchboard. And Phone.

I was imagining something that could be logged into and then controlled via a web page???

Any ideas???

I haven't looked at Home Auto for years now... X10 was popular last time i looked... but there might be others by now.

Thanks
