optus aurora problem
i have a uec dsd 720 with optus aurora but i originally had a silver card with most of the sub channels but after the scrambled them i got a legit optus card. today i decided to try the old card out to see what i could get, i got over 155 channels up but they were all scrambled apart from tvsn, help etc. i reset the box to the optus settings and put the legit card in and now most of the channels are scrambled (including tune) and they're not on the right number. i reset to factory defaults but it doesn't work. what have i done and how do i fix it?

You should get the Tune 156 channel....that is FTA. Then try SBS WA, SE etc and see if you get pics....if not you may have to ring up Optus and get them to re-activate your card, or leave it in the decoder switched on overnight to see if it updates.

thanks. i get sbs and abc from some states and imparja. but not 7 central and the other fta's i will leave it and see what happens.
7 Central requires activation. If you have Imparja, seems like you qualify for the "remote activation". GWN, WIN etc is only for WA residents. Here for more info

i had 7c and imparja before. i said i was traveling in a caravan. but it is odd what happened,
Yeah, leave the card in and see if it will update overnight, if not 7 Central might have switched off 7 Central, as they activate it for a maximum 6 months then you have to ring them up again, Imparja seems to have lasted longer for you.

it fixed itself. i just rescanned the box and the channels went to the correct position.
