    Default Anyone looking at the lunar eclipse

    Just stuck my head out and looked at the moon, Looks like we got an eclipse going on. Anyone with a telescope should have a look, i havent go t 1 but there seems to be some nice blue colours coming off the moon.
    Stop being so stupid.. it’s my turn!!

    Can't see anything other than the left side of the moon obscured by the shadow.

    close one eye then look at the top right you will see a blue tinge

    Lunar eclipses tend to be a bit dull. Partial eclipses even less so

    I want to see something exciting, like jupiter eclipse venus !

    Had a nice view through the 6 inch scope and 30mm eyepiece. Could see the lit portion as well as the red refracted light through the earth's atmosphere on the dark portion of the Moon. Not so easy to photograph.

    This pic taken at 8:55pm. The bright ray crater is Tycho, I think.
