There is a petition I would like members to sign as support to try to entice Telstra to offer some better deals to wireless internet users similar to deals recently offered to Cable/ADSL users.
Here is the link to the petition started at Whirlpool by a fellow stuck on wireless internet as I am.
Thanks Marty

Come on you guy's sign the petition and help me and other wireless users get a better deal from Telstra
With due respect Marty,, Why would anyone bother trying to change Telstra's
one-eyed approach to anything remotely connected to the Internet
There simply going to ignore any comments made about there crappy overpriced, so-called service. The answers quite simple, If you don't like there service, don't use it..
I hear this all the time, Bug ponds this or that, It's too expensive, to slow, download limits, speeds, blah, blah, blah.. But strangely enough people continue to use it, regardless of whatever there concerns are. The only way your going to have any effect on them is to ignore them and take your business elsewhere. And if enough people do the same, things just might change, but it's doubtful.
Can I be sure if I sign this petition that those Indians in the call center will not call and ask anymore or change to Optus! Lol!
Thanks Bassett
Conaxle no guarentees
Just sign the petition guys cause I ain't giving up.
It is a hobby harassing Telstra.
Hey marty 17, have to agree with you there. So many ignorant people not stepping outside of metro and major regional areas, don't realise that unfortunately Tel***a by far, have the largest mobile broadband coverage in Aus, yet even this coverage is very poor. They know it, and can charge the extreme rates they do (why... because with next-to-no competition, they can). Some of our rural and remote cousins are in for a very long wait, if ever, for reliable ADSL. To have ADSL2+ would be a dream some will never experience unless they move.
Sorry marty 17 for stealing your thread. I'll sign the petition. I know too well, where the only internet services is via dial-up, if you're very very lucky mobile broadband, or the reasonably expensive satellite broadband. Been trying to get my folks to change from the pond (mobile broadband), but when your set in your ways, change and options is actually a real big deal.
I did stumble across a reasonable 2way Satellite broadband that may be of interest to some at and it's not T****ra.
Petition signed.
