Getting PC to recognise my Dreambox 500

Hi all,

I'm current trying to download an emulator to my DM 500.

I have my DM connected to my PC (which is running XP) using a Nul cable and a Cat 5 cross ethernet cable, however I can't get my PC recognise the DM. I've done a lot of searching the net, but can't find any info on this.

Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

little confused mate what are you trying to do

You don't need to use the PC or Null modem cable

You download through the image as a plug in.

get yourself a copy of dcc it will make your life easy to connect to the dream

DCC works fine

If you are trying to get an internet connection through the pc you need to bridge the computers internet connection to the dreambox.
