    Default Old Chinese GPS

    Hi,

i have an older chinese gps device, it is from 2009-2010 with 128MB SDRAM, OEM: YFATLAS4.
I will need something like this:
    "
    YFUpdate.exe (UPDATE UTILITY)
    yfospa06.img (OS - WINCE)
    YFAPP.WZP (DEVICE MENU)
    ",
what I saw on the first page of this thread. I need to reinstall the OS WINCE, so if someone have still tools, imgs and other things needed, please upload them somewhere, because allmost all those old links are broken.

    Thx

Bluetooth it has, about fm transmitter im not sure, but i think not. My uncle gave me the device, it should have some arm CPU 400-500MHz what i was looking on net. Lot of those chinese devices from around 2010 had the same HW. The device has preinstalled software, but i would like to enter wince, because i want to play a little with developing software for wince.

    Hi All

    I'm New to this Forum.
I've recently bought this Chinese GPS device from U.S. This is GPS 84H-3 Model. Now I wanna run India maps on this. The maps are downloaded
but somehow not able to enter the authentication code. To generate the code I need to have Device ID. I'm not able to locate the Devise ID anywhere in the device. In 'system' icon in the software, Rom Version is visible, System ID is visible And App Version is also visible but i think the Device ID has been blocked.

I've tried all sort of things but not able to find Out

    Can someone Please help...

    Thanks

You probably have to write a small C program and compile it for ARM-devices (use Pelles C), if you can't find such a program already published in the WEB.

First, it doesn't boot, it got stuck in the first screen, so I decided to flash another time wince. It worked, but I wasn't able to find a WinCe 6 with the same resolution as mine. Some of them has an acceptable resolution but the touchscreen didn't worked, some of them the opposite... While trying WinCe firmwares, I added to one of them a file from another one because whitout it it doesn't install, but it was an error, because it got stuck while flashing eboot and now the GPS zone is dead.

When I click on GPS it just says: "No signal" and if I try to flash anything it doesn't care.

Do you know how to solve it? I think that if I could flash another time the eboot (I think it's the bootloader) it will be alive another time but I don't know how...

I have the firmware from the seller. If I know how, I could do a jtag...
    Hello all,

I am having same issue as Wanxu. Everytime I click on the 'GPS' button on my unit the black screen comes up saying "No Signal".
I didn't even do anything for this to happen. It just started happening alll of a sudden. It has been a year or two I haven't been able to use any GPS functions.

    Please someone help !!!!!

ps: the place in China (Erisin) told me that it is faulty GPS module. Can anyone please confirm??

You are obviously trying to use the wrong firmware.

I'm sure if someone knew the answer to your questions, they would answer.
