    Hi,

    i have searched thouroughly and cant find a way to make igo march 11 2010 start straight on the map screen.

    It should be under "settings" and then "menu"

    I definately know its under menu when you choose a DIMKA skin.

    You have the two options:

    Where to start:
    With Route
    Without Route

    try this on your sys.txt

    [interface]
    start_state="st_NavigateMap"

    Start iGo8 with map

    This works just fine - I use it: data.zip\ui_igo8\common\ui (see attachment), replace the start.ui.

    Only works with the default Igo skin

    On Further testing the sys text edit sugested causes my system to crash when the menu button is pressed.

    I have alos tried the start ui file supplied and that causes the system to crash on boot up.

    Ah all sorted,

    the start ui file supplied by xr5adam needed to be unzipped first.

    works perfectly.
