foxtel iq wont work.

Hey all,

I just moved house and i put the dish up myself for a foxtel setup.

From reading here and on the net, I figured I need this gear:

1. Satellite Dish (45cm or 65cm)
2. LNB - Don't know which one though
3. Cable to hook it up, RG6 with F connectors??

I have a Sharp ku-lnbf bs1r5ar228a. like this one: .
with a 65cm dish.

i have set it up in the same directions as all the other dishes on my neighbors
houses as i live in a complex and share the same roof etc.

but once i have plugged everything in and switch on my foxtel box all i get is a message saying no satellite signal being received ..

i dont know why this is as my foxtel box worked at my old place.

any help would be great.

p.s is there anything else do I need to know or do and does foxtel require?

It sound like your dish needs Aligning to the Satellite, & fine tuning,

you may need a Satellite finder etc... or get an installer to align it on the correct Satellite for you,

but, why didn't you get foxtel to relocate your Foxtel installation, & do the installing for you at your new house ?

I imagine there is some sharing going on here, which is frowned upon by Foxtel. Get a local installer to align your dish and all will be good.
