Bad disk or bad backup

Hi,
I have flashed my xbox360 with MS25 using latest iExtreme firmware. Everything went through as per Textbook, no errors. All 4 Banks were flashed and I got "Success" at the end.
Closed everything up and tried to test it with recently made backup of "The Simpsons". To make backup I used Samsung drive with Kreon firmware and xbox backup creator.
Put the backup disk into xbox and got "Unrecognised Disk" and something about disk being dirty. I didn't use Verbatim brand (I didn't have them), instead one of these Ridata Dl was used.
Am I doing something wrong here or flashing didn't happen? I am quite confident the flashing went OK, not sure only if I need to do something more when creating backup?
All help is appreciated.

Were the disks DVD+R DL ?

Also check that you selected the correct Samsung drive in the options section of XBOX Backup Creator

Do originals still work? More likely bad media(Ridata is hit & miss), or bad burn....also make sure the game is stealth patched,otherwise it wont work on iXtreme f/w

I'm with Ljay on this one, reckon its a stealth patch problem.

I think you are correct. Stealth patch is something I didn't do. I thought that using Kreon drive with xbox backup creator is sufficient.
BTW, the disk I was using - MAXDATA DVD+R DL. What do you think about the media?

Thats the disadvantage of using the iXtreme f/w....it needs to be patched.
If your not playing on XBL, then the standard Xtreme f/w is better as you dont need to worry whether a game is patched or not.

Verbatim is the only way to go

verbatim or ridata is fine too.
