    Default Dm800

    Just rescanned my dm800 and now all the HD channels are missing anyone else with this problem???

    Running Version 2 img DreamEliteBH_DM800_133D;
    with boot loader 76 on it if that is any help but the image in USB which is gemini now has the same problem just wondering if it is the latest drivers causing the issue that I am having.

    When you scanned did you try dvb-s2 and under modulation 8PSK?

    dvb-s2=yes cant find the modulation setting though
    BTW what transponer/tranponders are the HD channels on I can then try a manual scan see what I get

    Try 11720 H 29455 and 12052 H 29455 to start with

    Zero services found Hmmmmmm.
    Even bothered to go to lyngsat and checKed those freqs were right.
    What a bummer.
    Looking like the latest drivers are a no go for HD

    the modulation setting shoulld be on the same page as the dvb-s2 setting Vic (a bit lower down)

    Found it under manual scan set that to 8psk waiting to see if anyone else has an issue with this image on sat universe.

    Reflashed box to older image using second stage 75 same problem anyone else having problems with HD on a DM800 after a scan???

    I did have that prob and as a last resort after months turned the thing off at the mains then started up some mins later, done the scan - ALL there!

    Nice find. So if I'm reading this correctly, you remove a part where the circle is and add in the cap?

    My rev K has the 1000uF cap already, I found replacing it with a $20 dvb-c tuner resolved the heat problems

    This pdf seems to have more information on both rev j/k fixes..
