    Default Sharing to a DM500s - picture freeze.

    Hi all, I am sharing to a Dream DM500s. Each day the picture freezes and has to be fixed by a channel up a few and down. Is there a fix for this or have I done something wrong or is this just what you have to deal with? Running Jade 3 PLI Image. Thanks in advance for any help!!

    I love my DM500s and the network options on this box, but find after about 24 hours that I need to do a channel up and down to get back the sync between video and audio, This has occurred on both Aurora and selectv - although still running pli jade2 - as it just works

    Worse I have had to do is reboot the box (last night) to get back selectv!

    Disabling 'fast channel zapping' in the advanced set up should fix that.

    It's well known & documented

    montessa, check that the boxes have different MAC's. You may need an 'init' file in VAR/ETC

    I use the newcamd.conf file with this...

    CWS_KEEPALIVE = yes

    &

    mg_cfg file
    (Updating box) If you have octagon it WONT keep card updated in remote server. So use this on your Dreambox.

    This will send EMMs
    A: { 01 }

    (If any other client box that uses mgcamd use)
    This will send only if cant decrypt.
    A: { 02 }

    I upgraded a box to PLi Jade 3 a while back and found the same thing. I actually changed back to jade2 and it seems fine now.

    Nice tips also Davo.
