    Default Re-aligning ku band dish

Can someone post a tutorial or detailed instructions on how to re-align a ku band dish? Mine is currently facing Optus C1 166E but i want to move it to Intelsat 8. I live in Sydney.

    Cheers

Use Lygnsat to get a reference transponder
Set your STB to manual Transponder search or Sat Find setting or use a Sat Finder if you have to.
Loosen the bolts holding the clamp to the pole.
Slowly move the dish to the new position.
With your STB or Meter to find the exact position, you will have to slightly adjust elevation of your dish.
Check all transponders you need and adjust skew of LNB for best results.

    Re the physical mving thing.

    1. Mark the C1 az/el b4 u move a thing.

    2. The lnb skew for Pas 8 is different to C1. C1 is about 7 o'clock whilst Pas8 is about 5 o'clock (looking into the dish).

    3. Study this chart to work out the DIFFERENCE in Az and El for Sydney.
