    Default Opera 10.6

I havent used Opera for quite a while and came across a review about which browser is actually the fastest and Opera was fastest on Windows in their testing. Opera boasts it is the fastest browser so it looks like they are entitled to bragging rights.

I just installed Opera 10.6 from and it is noticeably faster than IE, Firefox or Chrome. If you are wanting faster browsing it might be worth a look. I am going to use it for a day or 2 and see if I come across any problems before saying its great, but I will say its fastest

been a Opera user since version 6 (which you had a to buy!)

very happy with it, its always been the first with all the innovations. Tabbed browsing, the home page with a grid of bookmarked pages, spell checker, etc. It has built in everything but able to disable them too.

I do find Hotmail not to work to well with it. and it lacks the plugins that FF has, mainly adblocker and no script, but apart from that its my preferred browser.

It may be faster but its jesus its security features blow!

I went to piratebay using Opera for a test and WOW did malwarebytes and avast go nuts!!!....some antimalware scanner thing . had itself written in start up entries and even spoofed itself as a windows update!!!!

    Glad i didn't uninstall Firefox!!

    You've been warned.

Been an Opera devotee since the first release of it many years back but I still encounter the odd site that's hostile to Opera and possibly any other non-IE browser. Just to balance the books, there's some sites designed to be hostile to IE as well (War of the browsers didn't end with Netscape). Opera's had tabbed browsing for years before MS announced their 'great innovation'
