    Default Dm800hd hdmi

Had it working. Unplugged it and plugged it into a new TV and no go.

I've reset the box, but it just won't work. Scart is fine.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

My only experience with a hdmi fault is with my lg tv. It has four hdmi inputs and recently when I purchased my new sat box I couldn't get audio. After some cursing at new box I realised that I couldn't get audio from anything on that particular input.
So I know its obvious but does everthing else work on that hdmi input?

OK...it appears to be the connection at the DM end. Either the DVI->HDMI cable is shot, or the DVI connection is bad.

Might try to get another cable and see.

Have you tried pulling the power to the TV, count to 10 and plug it back in? Seen a few issues that need the TV reseting, some must be windows based!

Hey mate, i've had a few issues with HDMI cables... one being length, the major one being tightness of bend in HDMI cable where it plugs in (they can all do this if the bend is tight enough) and one that took a while to find out, was a moisture made corrosion in the HDMI plug top itself (that green gunk that gets on copper when exposed to salt air)

And one thing i have learnt... that a $7 HDMI cable can work just fine when a $89 dollar one will not.

The cable was the problem. The DVI-HDMI cable supplied with the dream was faulty.

As a footnote now another hdmi input has died on the tv, down to 2 out of 4 now. Swapped boxes, cables etc but 2 and 3 are now dead. 20 months into 36 month warranty, rang lg today, tech coming out Thursday.

    The HDMI curse....

All fixed now, an eeprom problem apparently. He knew before hand, not a common problem but he switched the input/output panel over with a new one and all good now.
