    also if you want Explorer to open up to show your drives (as default) in one window

    right click Windows Explorer and click properties.
    Under the Target field the default value is %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe change that to
    %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20d04fe0-3aea-1069-a2d8-08002b30309d}

    should show local/network drives (total size/free etc)

    I guess this cannot be done in XP... the key shoud be somewhere in CURRENT_USER, isn't it?
