Default info missing from bar above the "Start" Bar

    Hi all,

I dont know how i'm going to go about explaining this but on my work PC, above the start button there is a bar which goes along the whole screen from left to right. Its about 5mm high and it displays some info.

For example, if i have windows explorer open, and select say 5 files from a folder, the "Info bar" shows how many files and the total size of the files.

I'm trying to get this "Bar" to show on my home PC but i cant find where to turn it on.

I'm using WIndows XP Pro with SP2.

ANy ideas on where i can turn it on from?

    Thanks

THanks for your reply. I finally worked it out. WHen i'm in Windows explorer, i clicked on "View" and then selected "Status bar".
by doing this, it shows the "Status Bar" on the bottom of the screen just above the start button.

    Thanks
