Because the last navcore's I posted up was in another Language by default.
I have made this one up in English
This navcore is for the tomtom's that take a SD cards, But it could work in other versions.
If someone tests it in another tomtom's version and it works post your results.

Yeah thats it, oh what version tomtom have your got
Yeah works good in my XL 30 series (no SD slot) as well with latest 2661 maps. Thanks.
Also works on older 3.5" ONE units as well. As thats what I suggested to another user here in another thread. Who had an older 3.5" 32mb one + sd card. Said it worked fine.

Works on my TomTom XL V3 (2008) Only problem is that i can't "operate my XL" in TT Home. Tells me, No Map!
w0lfm4n,
I have no doubt that EddieKruger has already patched home. The "Operate my TomTom" function in Home will not work with this particular navcore whether you patch it or not. Even the uploader DND is aware of this.
This is the only navcore I have come across that is missing this feature.
TomTom GO 730, Navcore 9.051c, 64Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5250
TomTom ONE v1, Navcore 9.170SE, 32Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5244

This function does work with this navcore. Chances are your tomtom might be reporting the incorrect navcore version. Happened to me when I installed this navcore version. To check this you can run TThome and check the contents of your tomtom. To fix, delete the TTGO.BIF file from the TomTom, disconnect the TomTom from pc and restart. This will create a new TTGO.BIF file with the correct navcore and system information. Or you are using the incorrect patched DLL file for TThome. I have attached the correct patched DLL file below.
You should now be able to patch and operate your TomTom from home.

Greg,
I already did all that when I first downloaded this navcore. I even uninstalled and re-installed Home and I've still been getting the same message "No maps found!" in TomTom Home.
Ok so today, after reading your post, I decided to try it again. Here is exactly what I did, step-by-step:
1) Deleted ttgo.bif file from SD card
2) Inserted card in TomTom and restarted. Waited till TomTom loads the map. All ok so far, so I shut down TomTom
3) Inserted card in computer. Copied the patched dll file you uploaded. I pasted it (and overwrote it when asked) into the folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\hx3vuevm.default\extensi ons\Navcore.8.562.438269@tomtom.com
4) Started TomTom Home, clicked on "Operate my ONE". The message that comes up is: "No maps found!" It also says "Select a map:" in the top left corner, but you can't select anything.
5) Closed TomTom Home, tried re-patching TomTom Home using FastActivate.
6) Started Home again... same result... still says "No maps found!"
Greg, how you managed to get it working with this exact navcore is beyond me. This is the only navcore that does this out of the many I've tried. Hopefully there is one additional thing that can be done to get it working - hope we can find out what that is.
Thanks
TomTom GO 730, Navcore 9.051c, 64Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5250
TomTom ONE v1, Navcore 9.170SE, 32Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5244
ThanX Greg, My one is working how!!
I already had that version .DLL file in my home but it didn't work,
So I overwrote it with your one and now it works.
Greg & DND,
can you guys please read my previous detailed post above and let us know if you did anything different, as EddieKruger and myself still can't get this navcore to work in TomTom Home.
Cheers
TomTom GO 730, Navcore 9.051c, 64Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5250
TomTom ONE v1, Navcore 9.170SE, 32Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5244
Yeah that sounds right, it should work.
A few weeks back I did delete bootloaderversion.txt off the tomtom I don't know if this made any difference. you could back a backup of yours and see if that makes a difference?
Didn't have to do anything special to get this navcore version working with my old tomtom ONE XL.
Basically all I did was
- Backup contents of old tomtom including maps
- Delete contents of SD memory card.
- Copy over new patched navcore 8.562 to SD memory card.
- Copy over voice files from backup.
- Copy over Australia Map 855.2884 to tomtom
- Copy over any POI, Official Cameras and custom sounds to map folder.
- Patch cameras and maps using Keygen 4.1 and latest mata.txt
- Disconnect tomtom and reboot to create new ttgo, bif file.
- Reconnect tomtom to pc. Download and install patched TThome DLL.
- Copy over mapsettings.cfg from old map to new map folder on tomtom.
If mapsettings.cfg from previous map version then operate my tomtom using TThome and edit existing favourite to migrate into new map version.
Only thing I had trouble with was finding the correct patched DLL file for TThome. So I posted it here in my previous post incase anybody was having trouble finding it. And assume everybody is running the latest TThome 2.7.6.2056.
Only other difference I can see is the bootloader version 5.5244 which you are using, versus the older 5.5136 that comes bundled with this navcore.

Greg,
I'm not quite clear on your step no. 9. It seems that you copied the dll file somewhere onto the TomTom, whereas I copied it across to the Home extensions directory (see above) on the computer.
I tried copying the dll file to the root of the TomTom and even to the map folder. None of them had any affect.
Where did you place the dll file?
