I have a DM 7025 with PLI Jade image on it and i need to install Cccam 2.0.0 on it manually but there is no manual install on the blue button like the PLI Jade image on my DM 7000 does anyone know how i can do this or is there another way?
Look Here -> |
Should be there. Blue button > Software management > Manual install
But why do it manually?
Blue button > Software management > Downloads > Softcams/Cardservers > Older cams should make the job much easier. As long as you're connected to the net of course
The older cams are located at the bottome of the list. But if you need to manually install you need to ftp the tgz file to /var/temp

Thanks guys but that would be the case with the image on the 7000 I can get the older cams at the bottom of the cams list of FTP then manual install from the blue button but the image on the 7025 does not have these features ppanels, pinp, sleep timer and graph multi epg in the blue button
I have no idea why it is so differant
older cams menu is only available in Enigma 1 images - not on the enigma 2 images
it is a manual install if you want 2.0.0 on a 7025
rename your existing /bin/CCcam file to /bin/CCcam.version
find the cccam 2.0.0 zip file (or .rar or tar.bz2)
look for the cccam.mipsel file in there and rename it and manually drop it where the other one was
dont forget chmod -755 CCcam
cheers

Cheers nfnovice i new there had to be something different there
so by renaming /bin/CCcam file to /bin/CCcam.version do you mean a later version of
Cccam? I do have a copy on my PC of Cccam 2.0.0 as a tar.bz2 can i use that to transfer
Im just not sure how to manually install as there isnt that function that i can find on the 7025
like Vic said extract the file on your PC and transfer CCcam.mipsel as CCcam
the rename to CCCam.version I put above was just to save your existing CCcam in case you needed it again
