Unhappy What type of Card Reader Writer is best.

Well I am back after a long absence, and I am having a go at the cloning of smart cards again (after market satellite tv), I have two reader writers, a Smargo USB, and a Infinity USB Unlimited, I have had absolutely, no luck with these instruments of mental frustration and torture. What is the best and easiest to use reader / writer I can get, and where can I get one ???????????? What are your recommendations and any hints ?

The only cards I know you can clone are goldies, silvers etc. and that's using a Jaycar.

Well! this stuff is all too hard, I tried to clone a basic card (not a tv card), and wiped everything off, so watch out on ebay soon for a couple of card reader / writers, going cheap. I will attack something else now as a hobby more to my liking, and not so technical. Perhaps a model plane! Thanks to the guys who tried to help, sorry it was in vain.

Thats the trouble with being a old timer with 7 grand kids, 2 dogs, a crumpy missus, and a wonkey ticker, cant afford to waste time going no-where.

Jaycar's work well and the only programmer I use. I have a flash Duolabs CAS3 but that only ever gets used for programming cams.

I loved my Elvis before it went to that Graceland in the sky. An Infinity Phoenix pretty much does everything you'd need and is my programmer of chjoice these days.
