hi i have the emulator on my pc but i cant get any further from there i cant make directories up i have medical problems thats the reason why. ,i spoke to some place in newcastle on the phone they wanted $100 orso to come out and put mame on ok. i dont pay call out fees or those inflated prices to no one ive been pushing for many years to get rid of call out fees out of this type thing especially when its just up the road .thx hamguy2 nsw
Well, people need to be paid for their work, if I have to travel to your house and spend an hour there, even if it is up the road, I still have to prepare, and bring all my gear and cannot answer the phone or help other customers quickly like I could do if you were in the shop. So it costs money to come to you, especially if I have to close the store or hire someone else to manage it whilst I am gone.
I'd look for a local computer users group or attend a free course run by your local BEC or library, even if the course doesn't help you will probably make a friend that can come over and help you out for free.
In the meantime, making folders just means open the mame folder and go to file/new/folder
He's tried that out on members more than once before....
I charge for call outs.
If people (like hamguy) don't want to pay me, then that's fine because I won't be showing up.
Instead I'll be doing work for other people who do pay
And making a new folder IS NOT THAT HARD.
OPTION #1
Right click in My Computer where you want the new folder.
Point the mouse at 'NEW', slide across menu to 'FOLDER' and left click.
I don't think it could be any simpler...
OPTION #2
You can do it in My Computer from the keyboard by pressing ALT > F > W > Enter > Enter
