DM500S clone Movie channels not working as of 18/08

I'm also trying to get this up and running.

Is the general idea that you run oscam as the server and then have CCcam client connect to it on the same box (so it is serving itself)?

After installing oscam, must I change my CCcam settings to get it to connect to oscam?

Also, is this only an issue on the clone boxes? What if I was to get a DM800 HD or something better?

I would use mgcamd as a client its quicker clone box makes no difference

yes you are right
CCcam Client --> Oscam server (all on the same box)
it doesnt matter whether its a clone or which box -- its about the encryption of the channels

You don't need a separate client! Just add the following to oscam.conf


[dvbapi]
enabled = 1
au = 1
boxtype = none
user = username
pmt_mode = 0


Just change username to match what you have in oscam.user

Have just updated Oscam to Version 2090, no different.

Should i be running another version?

What client are you running?

I would also update to a later version of oscam, 3150 works for me.

when you ftp across a new version of oscam dont just press reboot on remote switch off from power and then switch on again, because sometimes just rebooting wont work to get the oscam to update in box!!!happened to me a couple of weeks ago too!!!

That wierd must say there is no difference between restarting the emu and switching the box off then on again.
Having said that always kill oscam before ftping the new bin file across.
