Is there much difference between the PS3 and Xbox360 (apart from blu-ray)? I have a Panasonic Blu-Ray player and the 360 with a tonne of backup games so why would I bother getting a PS3? Most of the games are released on both consoles so is there any dramatic need to get a PS3 with the jailbreak?
the PSJailbreak has already been cloned,wow didn't take long cheaper alternative not far away I expect

That image has been there since day 1, its nothing new.
Maxconsoles turned into a shithole, I don't trust anything on that site, its just recycled garbage and rumors from the interwebs.
Have a look at PSX-Scene.
No doubt clones will appear in the future, maybe tomorrow maybe in 6 months time.
PS JB team say they've protected their dongle pretty well, and what i personally think its going to come down to in the long run is support and updates(something cloners aren't good at) specially since the PS3 is easily updated. They've said they'll have some nice surprises for clone devices that use their official firmware updates as well.

RE: Last reply, ozmodchips made a youtube video to show that any disc in the drive (eg 1 of your own games) can be used to boot any game copied to your HDD...and yes it takes as long as 1-2 hours to backup one game, one of the unfortunate realities of BR discs...

Seems like this will remain an offline solution?While we are all up and excited about PSJailbreak (PSjb), there might be a risk on playing with PSjb on PSN. According to SKFUand RichDevX, the Backup manager game ID (LAUN-12345) could be logged/recorded by Sony when logged into PSN (when online). This would obviously allow Sony to see who would be using the illegal PSjb/clone and we could very well see ban waves similar to the Xbox 360. Sony does currently ban PSN/consoles that results in the 8002A227 error code.
As people start getting their PSjb in the next few week, we highly advise that you do not log into PSN while using the backup manager, which means no playing online.
