Some gammas are Atmel based cards and the mastera4 can copy unprotected atmel based cards. What was the light flashing sequence? when you tried to load?

err, streeter, ANY programmer(in jdm/ludi mode) will copy an unprotected card, atmel or wafer, with the appropriate software.

and obviously ANY programmer in phoenix/smartmouse mode can program/read the card details , again with appropriate software.

there is nothing special about mastera programmers.

do you really think the gammateam would be that stupid ?

Mate (HOE) I have seen 2 Gammas that arent protected at all, both came from same seller, and the reason I asked about the mastera4 in particuular it has a stand alone (with out software) Load and copy function for Atmel based cards. I pressume if the unprotected card was put in M4 and it loads it will copy onto Blank gammas without o/s... As this works with golds, silvers, emeralds and funs with mastera4. I have also heard you can erase public gamma cards with mastera 4 this way aswell..

The reason I ask is, 1 re-seller has told me, he went to his sellers house and the guy was sitting at table with no pc but a black box type machine, programming a pile of cards...

Thus all the speculating and questions. I didnt say Gamma Team were dumb, I didnt think that bcoz they must be pretty smart to replicate this IR2 system to begin with.

The light sequence on a mastera will also give you signs on wether its protected or wether its loaded etc... this is why I asked..
