Are you sure its the lnb and not dish distortion?
I am wondering if anyone can recommend a specific brand/model of LNB which handles heat well ? Over the years I have had numerous problems on extremely hot days ( around 40 ) where the LNB gets too hot and I lose the picture. The only way to restore it is to go out and turn the hose on the dish for a few minutes , but having to do that every 30 minutes gives you the shits
Thanks in advance

What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

Can you put a white plastic cover over it to stop direct sun?
I use a .5 litre icecream container (empty :-)

Could be reflected heat from the dish. I melted the cap off an LNB once on a 180 cm dish I repainted it a mat finish which helped. Not sure if this happens with smaller dishs.
Why not try moving the LNB LO frequency in your receiver setup a few MHz ?
You might strike a frequency which works at both temperature extremes to save you from changing this one setup detail on temperature shift.
This post assumes the LNB LO is drifting with temperature changes, and not that the LNB is shitting itself entirely.
You can only try !
Hi,
Maybe some of that 30+ stuff, u no, the stuff the cancer council gives out.
Lasts up to 8 hrs, so the label says.
O'h yeah, it's waterproof, so u can still hose it down
machine
Just paint the lnb completely white with house paint.
