Wired IR extender for iQ box?

Hi all,

I'm wanting to put my F**tel iQ box (current Gen - no rf out) into a cupboard, out of site. When i do this I lose remote control functionality.

Can anyone recommend a simple, cheap, wired remote extender that will work with this box?

A mate uses a el-chepo wireless av sender, didn't bother plugging in the av cables just uses it for the IR extender.

Do you know the brand? And is it definitely a current gen iQ box?
